Loneliness and affliction

Mind spirals down

Deep in depression

My mind is swamped

With waves of reflection

Grey clouds of depression

Thin in my head

The chaos of life

Replaced by a thread

A thread of light

To remove the dread

Acceptance and hope

Fills my heart

Support by friends

Ensures new starts

A new journey beckons
