Whales Are Dancing

Verse 1

White Icebergs

Mirrored in the ocean

Contrasting vivid blue

Of the sky above

Perfection man never captured

Nor appreciated

Verse 2

Such are the sights

Around the world

Man a distant memory

Earth had healed

Chorus

Whales met once a year

In the shadow of the bergs

To celebrate and dance

When humanity was purged

Verse 3

Greed had finally unleashed

A pandemic so infectious

Whole species was wiped

Only structures were remnants

Forests grew back

And swallowed the buildings

Verse 4

Skies cleared of filth

Revealing colours long out of mind

Animals long lost

Suddenly appeared from time

Chorus

Whales met once a year

In the shadow of the bergs

To celebrate and dance

When humanity was purged

Verse 5

Earth never looked back

On the blight in its history

Domination of one species

At the cost of many

And the whales danced

But once a year

Chorus

Whales met once a year

In the shadow of the bergs

To celebrate and dance

When humanity was purged
